About Rules of Tajweed Course
This course is specially designed for students who have already completed a Quran Reading Course and can read the Holy Quran but want to improve their Tajweed skills. The program focuses on practical application of Tajweed rules to enhance students’ confidence and fluency in Quran recitation.
Through regular repetition and extensive reading practice, students strengthen the Tajweed rules learned at the basic level. All basic Tajweed rules are thoroughly revised and applied during guided Quran reading sessions under the supervision of professional and qualified Quran tutors.

- Prerequisite: Can read Quran fluently

Rules of Tajweed course Outline:
- Makhaarij (points of articulation).
- Waqf (Rules of Stopping).
- Vowels.
- Qalqalah.
- Sun and Moon letters.
- Rules of Izhar-e-Halaqi, Ikhfa, Idgham-e-Yarmaloon, Iqlab.
- Rules of Izhar-e-shafawi, Ikhfa-e-shafawi, Idgham-e-shafawi.
- Reading Practice (Surah Al-Fatiha).
- Reading Practice (Para 30).
- Exercises with the rules of Tajweed.
Requirements
This course is a follow-up program to the Quran Reading Course and focuses on the application of Tajweed rules in Quran recitation. Students should be able to read Arabic words and have basic knowledge of Harakaat, Sukoon, Madd, Tanween, and Shaddah. If you have not learned these fundamentals yet, you simply need to complete the Quran Reading Course first, after which you can easily start the Tajweed Course.
After completing this Tajweed Course, students will be able to recite the Holy Quran with correct Tajweed rules, improved pronunciation, and greater confidence.
